Ages 9 and older only. No exceptions, student must be 9 or turning 9 in the month class starts to be eligible. 6 sessions, Thursdays, 11:30 am-1:30 pm NO CLASS April 17 April 10, 24, May 1, 8, 15, 22 Join Maggie on Thursday afternoons (11:30-1:30PM) for an adventure in wheel thrown pottery! Each week provides expert instruction and time for practice. Register today because space is limited. Maggie will Attendance at each session is essential. There will be NO make-up sessions. This course will focus on advanced skills in altering, lidded forms and uniformity. Additional 6-week courses will follow focusing on different aspects of the ceramic process. Take the beginning class to learn the basics and build upon those skills with the advanced classes. Supply List: large towel apron Included: 12 hours of instruction Clay to create vessels Glazes and firings Use of basic throwing tools. (Sets can be purchased for $12+ tax) Special Notes: Attendance at each session is essential. There will be NO MAKE-UP sessions.
